14 July • Talk show “Resistenza!”
The talk show Resistenza! inaugurated VinoVip Cortina 2024 at 3.30 p.m. on Sunday 14 July at the Alexander Girardi Hall in Cortina d’Ampezzo. An appointment with a provocative title that will be an opportunity for discussion and reflection for operators and enthusiasts in which prohibitionist trends, policies to counter climate change, and commercial strategies to be adopted in an increasingly complex economic and geopolitical context will be discussed.
The meeting was opened by Luigi Moio, President of the OIV and Professor of Oenology at the University of Naples Federico II, with his speech “A cultural battle, a battle of civilisation”, followed by the Master of Wine Andrea Lonardi who focused on oenology applied to the market in the debate “Tuning the brand with the present and future time”. Giovanni Bigot, consultant agronomist and creator of the Bigot index delved into the theme of resistance in the vineyard with ‘The strength of (bio)diversity’ and Eugenio Pomarici, Professor of Economics at the University of Padua, speaked on ‘Resilience of wine-growing districts’.
