The Wine tasting of the Eagles is the signature event of VinoVip Cortina.
‘Where Eagles Dare’ was the title of a famous 1960s film starring Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood. Almost certainly the founder of Civiltà del bere Pino Khail had this cinematic suggestion in mind when, in 1997, he coined the title of this prestigious wine tasting. A poetic phrase to define a magical place: the Rifugio Faloria at an altitude of 2,123 metres, which hosts the final tasting of VinoVip Cortina. 27 years and 14 editions have passed, but the fascination of tasting the Gotha of national oenology against the backdrop of these peaks remains unchanged. The event takes place on Monday 15 July from 15:30 to 19:00 (entrance until 17:30) at the Rifugio Faloria.
