Talk show: Resistenza!

A moment of reflection: leading industry experts and wine entrepreneurs discuss. Big topics and big players in a VinoVip “must”. This year, issues of particular importance for the survival of the “civilisation of drinking” will be tackled: from the prohibitionist tendencies of some states that deny the cultural value of wine and the freedom of individuals, to the best policies for resisting climate change that puts viticulture at risk in various parts of the world, to trade policies best suited to increasingly complex economic and geo-political scenarios.

During the talk show, the Khail 2024 Prize will be announced and presented, an award named after the founder of the magazine Civiltà del bere and destined for a person who has distinguished himself in the promotion of Italian wine in the world.

Cabernet Vs. Cabernet

9:00 am -1:30 pm

An appointment dedicated to the two Cabernets, Sauvignon and Franc. The experts’ viticultural and oenological investigation and comparison in the glass, in a walk-around tasting to discover the similarities and differences of the varieties behind the success of some of the world’s most popular wines.

The highlight of VinoVip: the walk-around tasting with a breathtaking view of the Ampezzo Dolomites. The participating wineries will offer guests and enthusiasts three wines or spirits each: 177 iconic labels, great classics and novelties.
